The Top 5 Things I Would Do

If I found out I had cancer, or had a recurrence.

After 2 years of researching, studying and practicing the many pathways to healing, I have had time to reflect. In my reflections, I have prioritized the top 5 things I would do if I just found out I have cancer. I had no idea where to start when I got my diagnosis, so I had to just wing it and adapt as I went along. Regardless of the outcome, or if there is a recurrence, I know I would always fall back to these 5 pillars of my healing. If I am not 100% committed to these practices, it doesn’t matter how many meds I take, or how many treatments I undergo, the risk of metastasis and recurrence will always be there.

The list is written in order of importance (as I see). It is in outline form, so the descriptions are brief. If you read this and need more information, or clarification, please contact me and I will be happy to discuss it. And just like all the steps on this list, my sharing of knowledge is FREE!

1.Decide if, and how long I want to live.

  1. If not, enjoy the rest of the time I have to the best of my ability.
  2. If yes, how long? 2 yr., 5 yr., 10 yr.? Or as long as my body will naturally allow.

2.Stop poisoning my body.

  1. Take an honest look at my lifestyle and things that I’m doing
    1. Diet
      1. Am I ingesting things that suppress the immune system and cause inflammation? Processed sugar, oils, meat, alcohol, dairy, table salt, fast food, eating out
    2. Sleep
      1. Am I getting 7-8 hours every night?
      2. Am I going to bed early enough?
      3. Is the environment in my bedroom conducive to sleep without distraction?
      4. Am I going to sleep with gratitude and being thankful?
    3. Stress
      1. What are the things in my life that are causing me stress?
        1. Job, commute, bills, self-expectations
    4. Grief
      1. Losing a loved one and not being able to overcome the feeling of loss.
    5. Depression
      1. Unhappy with decisions I’ve made and where that has led me.
      2. Unrealized expectations.
    6. Environment
      1. Personal care products
      2. Household cleaners
      3. Yard chemicals
      4. Candles
      5. EMFs and cell signals (airplane mode)
    7. Living Conditions
      1. Clean and orderly
      2. Consistent
      3. Harmonious
      4. Access to the outdoors
    8. Relationships
      1. Are the people in my life supportive or combative?
      2. Are people willing to do for me, or am I always doing for them?

3.Adopt whole food plant based diet (not vegan)

  1. First 90 days raw.
  2. Proven healthiest diet and most likely to heal chronic diseases.

4.Fast

  1. Aggressively fast once a month
  2. Minimum 3 day water fast

5.Move and Meditate

  1. Exercise every day
    1. Rebounding and HIIT are most effective for moving lymph system and detox.
    2. Sauna to compliment workout and sweat out toxins.
  2. Meditate at least 30 minutes a day
    1. Qi gong
    2. Mindfulness with affirmations
    3. Stretch while meditating (yoga)

So yes, there may be some up front investment for exercise or kitchen equipment, but it doesn’t have to be expensive to be effective. For most of us, these are things that impact our daily lives, and sometimes it comes down to prioritization. I can’t think of anything that should be a higher priority to us or our families than our lives.

I hope people find this list helpful. Not as a rule book, but as an outline of things of which we need to be mindful. The list can be used as a quick, reminder checklist to reference, whenever we don’t get the results we had hoped for on a test, when we just aren’t feeling at our best, or if we just want to be 100% sure we have optimized our immune systems. This is an effective way to be sure it never has a chance to “return”.
